Empowering Birth Experiences Starts with Evidence
With a background in human biology from UCLA, I bring an evidence-based approach to my doula practice. I enjoy using research to empower informed decision-making in my clients and to bridge the gap in communicating and advocating with medical professionals.

Juliet Iacono
While studying at UCLA, I fell in love with maternal and fetal health. My background in human biology laid the foundation for my knowledge of perinatal health and the social and environment factors that can impact one's birth experience. My additional background in art and architecture also informs my practice, inspiring the kinds of embodied experiences I want to guide clients through.

My approach as a doula is rooted in science, continuous learning, and education. I believe that understanding your body and your clinical and non-clincal options can reduce fear, build confidence, and support true self-advocacy in any setting.

I will never tell you how you should birth, but I will support you in discovering what feels right for you. My hope is that you feel wholly and completely yourself during this incredible moment!

I trained at Bini Birth in Sherman Oaks in Spring 2025 and am currently working toward certification through DONA International. I serve as a Member-at-Large on the Board of the Doulas Association of Southern California (DASC), and I volunteer as a birth doula with Joy in Birthing Foundation and Harvest Home in Los Angeles.
