Empowering Birth Experiences Starts with Evidence
With a background in human biology and maternal and fetal health from UCLA, I bring an evidence-based approach to my doula practice. I enjoy using research to empower informed decision-making in my clients and to bridge the gap in communicating and advocating with medical professionals.

While studying at UCLA, I fell in love with maternal and fetal health. My interdisciplinary degree explored not only the biology of human reproduction but also the social systems that shape reproductive outcomes. After a two-year detour into architecture, I graduated with clarity that my true passion lies in people, bodies, and empowering women to live more embodied lives. Art and Architecture, however, still informs my practice, inspiring the kinds of embodied experiences I want to guide clients through.

My approach as a doula is rooted in scientific research, continuous learning, and education. I believe that knowledge of one’s body and an understanding of medical options can ease anxiety and help birthing people advocate for themselves in clinical settings. As your doula, I will not tell you how to birth but I will support you in discovering and achieving the birth experience you desire!

Trained at Bini Birth in Sherman Oaks, in Spring of 2025, I am working towards certification through DONA International. I serve as a member at large on the Board of the Doulas Association of Southern California (DASC). I also work as a volunteer birth doula with the Joy in Birthing Foundation and Harvest Home, Los Angeles.
